In 2014 the Professional Contractors Services Organisation (PCSO) was founded by Contracting PLUS, ICON Accounting and MAC Accountancy. The PCSO was set up to ensure compliance and peace of mind for Recruitment Agencies, companies engaging Professional Contractors and Professional Contractor themselves. The mission was to create an organisation to support and promote the professional contracting sector and to lobby for both fair and practical tax and legislative framework in Ireland.
